Terms and Services

Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy for in-stock products only, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return prior to attempting any installation. This policy does not pertain to custom orders. All custom made orders are final. Please verify all information and review any and all technical specifications prior to purchasing. GREEN MAINLAND is not responsible for any local building code compliance and does not make any guarantees, unless otherwise stated in a written, signed and stamped form.

If you receive a shop drawing for a custom order, your order is final once you approve it in at least one of the three ways: by text, call, or email. Please consult an architect or a general contractor if you have any questions before making your approval such as rough sizes of the openings and local building code, to confirm compliance.

To be eligible for a return, your product must be purchased from in-stock availability and not have been a made-to-order or a custom order. All in stock items must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, to be eligible for a return. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can email us at contact@greenmainland.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 2158 W Northwest Hwy Suite 407, Dallas, TX 75220, United States at your own expense. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at contact@greenmainland.com.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days (minus a 20% restocking fee). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@greenmainland.com.

Delivery

The quoted total includes freight and shipping to the client’s specified address via GREEN MAINLAND’s standard shipping methods which are curbside delivery only. If a client fails to pay the remaining balance within 48 hours after they are notified of the delivery date, the client waives the free and included delivery and is responsible for storage and separate delivery charges. The client is responsible for unloading the product from the delivery truck and must plan to have sufficient manpower or equipment present for unloading. Weight and dimensions of the package will be communicated to the client in advance. If the location is not easily accessible by a common carrier, shipment will be made to the nearest freight terminal. Alternative shipping methods requested by the client may result in additional charges. Upon delivery, the protective tape should be removed from any product surfaces and the product should be stored in a safe and shaded/covered area until installation, as soon as possible, to avoid damage to the product and forfeiture of warranty.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt of the product and contact us within 24 hours in writing if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and determine the next course of action. If a client fails to notify GREEN MAINLAND of any problems within a 24-hour time frame, the products are considered accepted by the client, thus waiving all claims against GREEN MAINLAND.

Non-Returnable Items

All custom orders are final. Any product that is made to order is a custom item and is not eligible for return.

Specifications

Although every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the quotes, GREEN MAINLAND accepts no liability for errors or omissions which may be found to have occurred. The client must review, verify, and confirm the accuracy of the quote (i.e. net frame and required rough opening dimensions, windows/doors series, windows/doors operation style, windows type, hinge side, frame type, color, grids pattern, etc). The RO shows required dimensions assuming the framing is level. Clients shall specify in writing whether they require low threshold (not water resistant or waterproof) or standard threshold (water resistant). Any changes to quotes must be submitted in writing. No verbal changes are accepted. The client must initial, sign, and date the quote and email it back to their sales representative before the order is released to production. No changes to the order will be allowed or accepted after 24 hours from the signed quote date.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the eligible product you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new product.

Altitude

GREEN MAINLAND assumes that the products will be installed at altitudes less than 4,000 feet for standard windows and doors (corners of frame or glass have 90 deg angles), and 2,500 feet for windows and doors with elements that have corners with other angles. Notify us at contact@greenmainland.com if installing the products at a higher altitude so breather or capillary tubes, or membranes can be installed in the glass.

Suitability of Usage

GREEN MAINLAND is not responsible for the suitability of any product for any purpose or its compliance with any regulations. Customers are responsible for verifying all applicable building code requirements prior to ordering and are solely responsible for compliance with those building code requirements.

Disposal of Unclaimed Merchandise

Due to storage constraints, products will be held by GREEN MAINLAND 30 days only from the date the client is notified that the product is ready for delivery. The daily storage fee will be $15 per window and $30 per door. If the product has not been picked up 30 days after the client was notified that the product is ready for pick up or delivery, the product will be disposed of and no claims for refunds of deposits/payments or replacement of products will be accepted, and no claims can be made against GREEN MAINLAND.

Warranties and Disclaimers

Please review our warranty, exclusions and restrictions prior to placing an order.

If you believe you have a warranty claim within the specified warranty period relating to a defect in your product, you must email photos of your product with a brief description of the defect to contact@greenmainland.com

The warranties provided herein do not include, and GREEN MAINLAND will not be responsible for, the provision and/or costs relating to materials and labor, including, but not limited to the following: (i) the removal, uninstallation, and/or re-palletizing product for return to GREEN MAINLAND; or (ii) the reinstallation of new products or units. The limitations provided in this paragraph will be the sole responsibility of the Customer including, any and all finish work, pertaining to flooring, paint, drywall, construction, exterior finish or labor.

We guarantee to the original commercial purchaser of GREEN MAINLAND windows or doors (hereafter referred to as “products”) installed in (i) a single family home or a multi-family home unit or (ii) a building used for commercial, governmental, fraternal or religious purposes (collectively a “covered building”) as new construction or as replacements, that GREEN MAINLAND will either repair or replace any products that are found to be defective in materials or workmanship during the five (5)-year warranty period defined in the warranty details schedule below (“warranty period”) provided that we receive prompt notice of such defective materials or workmanship. We will pay the costs of parts and labor, except that the original commercial purchaser must provide at no cost any scaffolding or lift equipment that may be required to repair or replace the products. If repair or replacement is not commercially practical or cannot timely be made, then we will refund the purchase price. The foregoing remedies are the exclusive remedies for breach of warranty.

This limited warranty extends to the original commercial purchaser of GREEN MAINLAND products installed in a covered building and is not assignable. The warranty period starts on the date of the accepted delivery of the products (“start date”) and expires according to the warranty details schedule listed below. In addition, if the original commercial purchaser sells a covered building before the expiration of the warranty period, we will automatically extend the coverage under this warranty (subject to the same limitations and exclusions) to the new end-user only.

  • 3 years hardware warranty

The five (5)-year warranty does not cover damage or defects relating to misuse, abuse, the use of applied tints or films, broken glass, alterations including but not limited to customer-applied finishes, minor imperfections in glass that do not affect the product’s structural integrity or significantly obscure vision, normal wear and tear including but not limited to natural weathering of exterior finishes, broken glass, acts of nature (e.g. fire, hurricane, etc.), condensation (moisture or ice forming on the surface of the glass or frame) or damage as a result of condensation (except to the extent such condensation or damages from such condensation are caused by failure of the product), improper storage, improper handling, improper installation or failure to properly care for and maintain GREEN MAINLAND products. Customer acknowledges and agrees the following are not defects in any finish to products and shall be excluded from any warranty coverage: (i) weathering/sun fading which are considered normal occurrences; (ii) damage to the finish which occurs onsite during unloading, installation, or improper cleaning during construction; (iii) drying or cracking due to use of foreign chemicals, hose water (hard water), and/or acidic water; and (iv) installation near a pool. This warranty does not apply to any products that are installed in a covered building that has a non-drainable EIFS or DEFS siding product. GREEN MAINLAND reserves the right to modify or discontinue any of its products. For the repair or replacement of modified or discontinued products, we will have the right to substitute current products and components of equal quality and as similar in appearance as possible. GREEN MAINLAND will not be obligated to replace discontinued products and components for which no similar alternatives are available.

Except for the express warranty contained herein, GREEN MAINLAND extends no other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, and disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Remedies

In no event will GREEN MAINLAND be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, whether based on breach of express or implied warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory. Such damages include, but are not limited to lost rents or profits, loss of use, claims of third parties and property damage. The statute of limitations applicable to all claims arising under this Warranty shall be one (1) year from the date the defect in the products is discovered. GREEN MAINLAND reserves the right to modify the warranty schedule.
